Starting my apprenticeship with Creative Alliance at FSE Digital has been an exciting journey, and I’m really pleased to say that I’m settling in incredibly well. From day one, I’ve felt genuinely supported by my team, which has made such a difference in building my confidence and helping me grow. I’m not only enjoying the day-to-day responsibilities of my role as a ‘Junior Multi-Channel Marketer’, but I’m also getting a lot out of the off-the-job seminars, which are giving me a deeper understanding of the industry.
On-The-Job
On the job, I’ve already had the opportunity to take on real responsibility. One of my proudest achievements so far has been taking over and creating social content for FSE Digital’s social media channels. It’s been a great chance to be creative, experiment with ideas, and start developing my own voice within a professional setting. Seeing content go live that I’ve worked on has been really rewarding.
I’ve also had the chance to attend two fantastic events: the South Essex Business Expo and The International Franchise Show. Both experiences were incredibly insightful. They gave me the opportunity to meet a wide range of people in the industry, learn more about different businesses, and understand how digital marketing plays a role across various sectors. It was also a great way to build confidence when networking and representing the company.
Off-The-Job
Alongside my practical work, I’ve been focusing on my current curriculum module: Data, Analytics and Optimisation. This has been particularly interesting as it ties directly into the work I’m doing. So far, I’ve explored areas such as SEO, advertising, reporting, and analysing data. It’s helped me start thinking more strategically about the content I create and how it performs, rather than just the creative side alone.
Overall, I’m really enjoying the balance between learning and working. Every week feels like a step forward, and I’m excited to keep building my skills, gaining experience, and seeing where this apprenticeship will take me next.
