Balgores Property Group launched in 2002 with ambitions to become a major player in the Essex housing market.
In 2014 they approached FSE Digital in crisis, when a relaunch of their website, through another agency, caused them to lose their search engine rankings overnight. We urgently carried out a review of the Balgores website and devised a recovery plan, identifying the redirects and content that had been deleted as part of the website relaunch. We reinstated these, which immediately helped to recover some of the previous rankings and organic traffic.
Once we’d recovered the site, we created and implemented an SEO strategy. The site wasn’t ranking well for many of their key geographical areas including Chelmsford, Romford, and Brentwood, so we created optimised pages for each branch. We also carried out an extensive outreach campaign and focused on publishing localised content on the main news portals in these key areas. We manage and optimise their Google Business Listings on an ongoing basis.
Balgores wanted to increase their online visibility, valuation requests and instructions. Leveraging our experience in the property market, we carried out an audit of their PPC campaign, conducted keyword research, created specific ad copy, and optimised landing pages to maximise conversions.
We also developed a social media strategy that focuses on consistent, high-quality content and targeted paid advertising. Our organic social strategy involves sharing daily property posts to keep the audience engaged and updated on the latest listings and property trends, to ensure Balgores remains front of mind for prospective buyers and sellers. We also run monthly ad campaigns specifically designed to promote property valuations.
Over the course of the relationship, our service offering with this client has increased significantly, and we now provide additional graphic design, email marketing support and reviews management. As a result, the company has seen continual growth, including the acquisition of Woollens in Dagenham and Michael Stevens in Loughton, as well as the opening of several new branches, and a Customer Care Centre to support operations.
